Caption: This is another image of the HRI particle cloud. On the left is the undeconvolved image. On the right is the deconvolved image. The bright streaks indicated by the red arrows are particles in the foreground of the image. The fainter streaks indicated by blue arrows are particles behind the nucleus or possibly background stars. The individual specks circled in yellow are hovering particles are not smeared because their motion is counterbalanced by the spacecraft’s motion.
