Caption: This EPOXI mission image of comet 103P/Hartley 2 was taken 17 days after Encounter (E+17d) using the Medium Resolution Instrument (MRI) and a clear filter. Science Team member Dr. Dennis Wellnitz combined two 60sec exposures. The mid-exposure time was 2010/11/21 19:40:19 UTC. The comet was 1.11 AU from the Sun and 0.12 AU (18.1 million km) from the spacecraft.
