Caption: The EPOXI flight and science teams received this NASA Group Achievement Award in recognition of their highly successful campaign to observe transits and eclipses of giant transiting exoplanets. The observations made between January and August, 2008. The team overcame difficulties associated with a safing of the spacecraft, and low downlink power due to a telecom anomaly, to obtain about 200,000 science-quality photometric measurements of the exoplanets. The Award was accepted at JPL on June 9, 2009, by Dr. Drake Deming on behalf of the EPOXI team.
